MAYAN SYMBOLS

This project was a collaboration between the Consulate of Guatemala in Del Rio, Texas, and the Falcon Art Gallery, Texas, as part of an International Cultural Exchange Program.

Through a series of artistic and community activities, participants created a collective mural composed of 32 pieces (each 16 × 16 inches), measuring 10 feet 3 inches long by 5 feet 3 inches high.

The mural represents the values of love, family, and strength, featuring Mayan symbols that highlight Guatemala’s rich cultural heritage.

The project concluded with an exhibition dedicated to Guatemalan culture, celebrating creativity, art, and the connection between communities through cultural exchange.
